Falling into the grave

Falling into the grave,
The bleak motionless darkness,
Inside I search but nothing is found,
Only an empty soul dying,

A small light flickers,
In this endless void,
Your words surround me,
Squeezing me taking my life,

Your gaze caught on my throat,
I feel it tighten contracting,
Your eyes are alight with fire,
Your mouth opens in awe,

My eyes widen and dig into your soul,
The emptiness consumes me,
We are two souls alike,
But so very different,

All we see is pain suffering,
The truth,
All you feel is nothing,
All I feel is pain,

The pain of the blade,
On which I am sat,
On which my life hangs in the balance,
Like a pendulum swaying forevermore.
